Otto von Bülow (born 16 October1911 inWilhelmshaven, † 5 January 2006 Wohltorf) was a Germancommander in , and Captain of the Navy.
Otto came from the Mecklenburg European Uradelsgeschlecht those of Bulow and was the son of Captain Otto von Bülow (1874-1930) and his wife Johanna, nee Meyer (1883-1937).
On 5 June 1937, he married Helga Christiansen (born 2 April1914 inRødding,Denmark) inBremen.
Bulow took effect on 1 April 1930 as the Imperial Navy in Seeoffizieranwärter and finished an infantry training in the Division II naval training division of the Baltic in Stralsund. His training completed Bulow board from July 1930 to the Niobe, and from October until the beginning of 1932 on theEmden. It was followed by further training courses inStralsund and 1932-1933 for the main course at the naval ensign Mürwik.
In 1933, Bulow transferred to theGermany, where he was from 1 April 1934 as a division lieutenant and served as a battery commander. In September 1935 he joined as a company officer and company commander of Fla-Kompanie/VI. Marine Artillery Division to Emden. In the years 1937-1939 led Bülow as a division officer in the I.WO and flak-AO on the Schleswig Holstein and 1939-1940 as a company commander of the naval artillery department or Commander of the naval flak in Pillau.
